Learn, explore, create in Mariposa Library Makerspace 

May 9, 2018 - Mariposa County Library offers free workshops on the first and third Thursday of the month from 3:00 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. as part of its Green S.T.E.A.M. Makerspace program. The workshops are open to people of all ages and abilities.

The topics are based on the theme of sustainability with each workshop related to science, technology, engineering, art or math (STEAM). Many focus on repurposing used materials or reducing human impact on the earth.

Space is limited, and registration is required for some programs.

Workshop topics for May and June are:

• Thursday, May 17—Bristlebot robots (registration required)
• Thursday, May 31—Solar firefly night lights (registration required)
• Thursday, June 7—Kitchen Science
• Thursday, June 21—Cat and dog toys

Workshops are held in the Mariposa Library’s community room.
