May 30, 2018 - Mariposa/Yosemite Artists (MYA) welcomes you to a new event, Art Around Town, first Friday nights June 1st, July 6th and August 3rd from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Mariposa merchants are hosting local artists to promote art in Mariposa. Stroll through Mariposa's downtown shops on Hwy 140 and on the side streets. Visit local shops and meet many of Mariposa's talented artists.
The hosting merchants are Brick Wall, Casto Oaks, Chowchili, Ridgeline Gallery, Rumm Gallery, Sierra Artists Gallery, Sugar Pine Café, Sweetwater Deli, The Alley, The Company Store and Yosemite Crystals. The featured artists are Jackie Baxton, Kass Bissmeyer, Saralynn Nusbaum, Christine Obers, Vicki Thomas, Faith Rumm, Barbara Kyne, Hannelore Fischer, Mona Jean, Fran Shell, Karen Kuper, Mary Brosius, Barbara Cone, Charles Phillips, Jeanetta Phillips and Frank Vigneri. Come on out and support our shops and local artists, many will be demonstrating their creative talents.
