June 9, 2018 - CLOVIS, CA. - The Sierra National Forest would like to encourage public participation in learning how to safely recreate, protect the natural resources we enjoy, and maximize the enjoyment of Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) recreation on the National Forest.
The Bass Lake and High Sierra Ranger Districts of the Sierra National Forest, will be offering several opportunities this summer for people to learn about OHV use on the National Forest and how to operate them safely. Free educational material full of information will be available, including fun activities, and safety material for children.
Please join us by bringing your family and friends to meet with the Sierra National Forest OHV teams on the following dates and locations, this summer.
Bass Lake Ranger District (BLRD):
Location for all three BLRD events is Kamook Staging Area in Miami Trails.
• June 22, 2018 from 10:00-2:00pm
• July 18, 2018 from 10:00-2:00pm
• August 10, 2018 from 10:00-2:00pm

High Sierra Ranger District (HSRD):
Location for the three HSRD events is Bald Base Camp in Tamarack Area (~5 miles Southeast of Tamarack Snow Park).
• June 23rd and 24th from 10:00-2:00pm
• August 4th and 5th from 10:00-2:00pm
• September 1st and 2nd from 10:00-2:00pm
