July 2, 2018 - The Coulterville Fire Brigade has been raising funds and supporting 50 years with our volunteer firefighters in their pursuit of fire protection of their community along with fire education of our citizens and their annual Children’s Christmas charity. 

In 1968 our Brigade was formed in order to raise money to assist the volunteer firefighters to build and house their fire engine.  Every year since, the Brigade has presented our Deep Pit Barbecue Beef event to honor and support our firefighters.

The money raised is used to purchase non-essential equipment & supplies, support the firefighters in their continued education and to purchase Christmas gifts for their annual children’s party.  We also help the firefighters in their visits to local schools to teach fire safety to all children in our community. Our 50^th Annual Deep Pit Barbecue Beef event will be on Saturday, July 7, 2018 in the Coulterville Park at the corner of Hwy 49 & Hwy 132 from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 P.M. 

Our dinner of Deep Pit Beef, Beans, Salad & Bread is $15.00 for an adult and $7.00 for a child.  If you can’t stay to enjoy the music and fun, we do have to go orders.  Texas Rick will provide music from Noon until 6:00 P.M. 

We will hold a raffle with many wonderful prizes.  There will be a Kids Zone with crafts for the children to do and the local County Pool will be open to the public from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M.
