Mrs. Kanarowski's transitional kindergarten and kindergarten students led the assembly with a song: "We're gonna rock this school into a caring site!"
Mrs. Kanarowski and her students had decorated the windows of their classroom with this same main verse.
Student Council performed a skit showing how caring for yourself and others means not doing drugs -- a perfect tie-in to Red Ribbon Week.Teachers said a few words about each student's caring behavior, explaining why they chose each particular students. Students received a certificate and will have a pizza lunch with Principal Garagarza.
