The interpreters were able to designate the fire perimeter and isolated fires with no difficulty.
Due to terrain issues, portions of the perimeter along the Upper eastern edge (south of El Portal) of the fire could not be analyzed accurately. These areas have been depicted as estimated.
Large areas of perimeter growth and intense fire were detected at the southern section (burnout area), and the north, northereastern sections of perimeter. and along the eastern section of burnout of the Ferguson fire.
Large areas of intense fire were detected along the northern, northeastern sections of perimter, and along the eastern burnout sectoin and the southern burnout section fo the perimeter of the fire.
Large areas of scattered fire were detected along the Southern interior of the Ferguson Fire, also a large section of scatterd fire to the north and northeastern interior section of the fire, as well as along the eastern and southern burnout arms of the fire.
Isolated fires were generally within fairly close proximity to the main perimeters. Isolated fire mapped inside near the western boundary of the fire, the northern interior, and the eastern interior section of the fire. Isolated fire were also spotting ahead of the intense fire areas.
