August 8, 2018 - Due to unhealthy air quality both outside and inside some county offices, Mariposa County has reduced / closed services at many county departments. 

As of now most Mariposa County Departments are closed until 12:00 pm tomorrow August 7th. Mariposa County Officials will continue to monitor the air quality and adjust the closures / reduction of services as necessary.

If you plan on visiting a county office over the next few days please call ahead to check the status of that office. 

The Mariposa County Board of Supervisors meeting scheduled for Tuesday August 7th at 9:00 am will proceed as usual. 

Public Safety offices such as the Sheriff's Office / Fire / EMS are not affected by this closure and remain fully staffed as usual.
