August 26, 2018 - Yosemite National Park  announced on Facebook late Saturday eveing the work to repair damaged high voltage power lines along the El Portal Road (Highway 140 within the park) has been completed.

The El Portal Road is fully open and visitors can now access Yosemite National Park via Highway 140.
