Pest Management Workshop
October 3, 2018 - The Mariposa County Department of Agriculture in conjunction with the University of California Cooperative Extension will be presenting its annual Hot Topics in Pest Management workshop on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at McCay Hall in Catheys Valley, California.
Are you interested in learning about oak survival in the changing climate, California Agriculture Commissioner Pesticide use enforcement, transportation of hazardous chemicals, mosquito control options, ticks & black flies, and controlling major rangeland weeds in the face of climate change? Then come join us for this workshop.
If you need continuing education hours for your California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) license or your Private Applicator Certification, this workshop provides 5.5 hours of DPR continuing education credits including 2.25 hours of laws.
On-site registration for the workshop will began at 8:00 A.M. and the workshop will run from 8:30 A.M. - 3:30 P.M.
The cost for the workshop is $35 and includes snacks, lunch, and handout materials.
Registration is required; please register by Monday, October 22, 2018.
Please be prepared to show photo identification for admittance to the workshop. Bring a chair cushion for your comfort.
