October 15, 2018 - Turn a gourd into a Jack-o’-lantern or other fanciful fall decoration at the next Mariposa Library Green S.T.E.A.M. Makerspace workshop on Thursday, October 18 at 3:00 p.m. The program is free and open to all ages. Children aged 9 and younger must be accompanied by and an adult. Registration is required.
The workshop will be led by Nancy Francis, a local crafter and Makerspace volunteer. She will return on Saturday, November 17 to teach a workshop on making paper bowls and star ornaments from magazines or other discarded paper and again on Saturday, December 1 to make pistachio shell flower decorations.
Children aged 7 and older are invited to make a small battery-powered motor on Thursday, November 29 at 3:00 p.m.

Green S.T.E.A.M. Makerspace workshops focus on topics related to science, technology, engineering, art and math with a sustainability theme.
