October 31, 2018 - Sierra Foothill Charter School was happy to participate in Red Ribbon Week from October 22 through October 26. Red Ribbon Week is a national alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign.

SFCS class representatives came up with a different theme for every day of the week.

Monday's theme was "Doing drugs is crazy." Students came to school with crazy hair.
Kindergartener Eastwood Shrull showed his support with vibrant red hair for the day.

Tuesday's theme: "Team up against drugs." Students word their favorite team jerseys or sports attire.
Ares Goodman and Khloe Reynolds dress up in their favorite green and gold, though they are routing for two very different teams.

On Wednesday, the theme was "follow your dreams; don't do drugs." Students stayed cozy all day in their pajamas.
Teacher Chelsea Kamins is surrounded by students Ginger Jensen, Ahsha Vaziralli, Colin Jensen, Addison Russell, Owen Eastwood, and Spencer Eastwood. It looks like they enjoyed wearing their pajamas on pajama day.

Thursday's theme was "Drugs change the real you." Students wore costumes.
Dinosaur Keegan Smerber is surrounded by schoolmates in a wide variety of costumes.

On Friday, students wore blue or an SFCS shirt to symbolize that SFCS chooses to be drug free.
