Dear Community,
On behalf of the Soroptimist International of Mariposa I want to send a Big THANK YOU to all of you who helped make this year’s Halloween Candy Drive a success. We collected over 4 tubs of bagged candy. We had 38 homes send in request forms and several that forgot to turn in forms and we were able to fill each bag with a few bags of assorted goodies. The children of Mariposa County had lots of goodies this year!
The following helped by having a collection box, or jar or both at their location or business: Ace Hardware, Bootjack Market, Donuts A Go-Go, Gazette Office, Government Center, Happy Burger Diner, Human Services, Pioneer Market, Pizza Factory, Steve’s Sportsman Café, Starchman & Bryant Law Offices.
Thanks also to the Ladies of Soroptimist and Gentleman who helped sort, bag and deliver the candy, and to Blaze, Rylie and Emberly who did a lot of walking delivering the flyers and boxes.
