November 21, 2018 - The National Weather Service Hanford office reports a Flash Flood Watch is in effect over the Ferguson Burn Scar in Mariposa County beginning Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 P.M. through Thanksgiving morning at 8:00 A.M.
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding and debris flows.
Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION in mountainous terrain.
