November 27, 2018 - The Mariposa Library offers free educational and entertaining programs for everyone, ranging from Wednesday morning story time and monthly family movies to Makerspace science and art activities. All ages welcome.
Make unique holiday decorations & gifts from pistachio shells. Create beautiful pistachio shell flowers and other decorations at this free workshop, for ages 12 and older on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon (Kids can make their own decorations in the children’s room.)
Looking for something new and different to do? Try these upcoming activities:
Learn to make tree centerpieces and other art from discarded books, Thursday, December 6, 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., all ages welcome.
Watch the charming family movie, “The 12 Dogs of Christmas” on Wednesday, December 19, starting at 3:00 p.m. Free bag of popcorn plus a holiday surprise for all movie goers.
Stitch a gift bag or small pillow, for beginning sewers on Thursday, December 20 from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Storytime, Every Wednesday, 10:15 a.m., craft included.
Registration is required for all programs except story time and movies.

This is a Green S.T.E.A.M. Makerspace workshop, made possible by a Library Services & Technology Act (LSTA) grant administered by the California State Library; STI; and Friends of the Mariposa Library. The Green S.T.E.A.M. promotes sustainability, including repurposing used materials.
