November 29, 2018 - On Tuesday, November 27, California Director for the National Wildlife Federation, wildlife advocate, and author Beth Pratt visited Teena Starchman's third and fourth grade class at Sierra Foothill Charter School to talk to them about P-22 and other California wildlife. P-22 is a mountain lion well-known in Los Angeles due to his presence in Griffith Park – claimed to be the world’s most urban natural park and host to the famous Hollywood sign. Ms. Pratt told us about his story of arriving at Griffith Park and how he has had to adapt. At the end of her presentation, Ms. Pratt gave each student a P-22 sticker and a Ranger Rick magazine.
