December 18, 2018 - On December 8, the Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort hosted a Spa Day fundraiser for the benefit of Sierra Foothill Charter School. Activities included access to the Yosemite Health Spa with the option of a special facial treatment; crafts and fun for the kids; dinner at June Bug Cafe with live music by Jim Savarino; a campfire sing-along including s'mores and more.
SFCS wishes to thank everyone who attended the event, all who helped at the event, and gives a special thanks to Caroline McGrath and the Yosemite Bug for their generosity. The event raised $2,092.50 in support of SFCS students and programs.
CJ Davis led the sing-along by the campfire.
SFCS teacher Teena Starchman hosted a table of crafts for children, including Ciaio Palacio-Baena visible at the end, so that parents could enjoy the Yosemite Health Spa on their own.
Ginger Jensen proudly shows her finished creation at the crafts table.
