December 28, 2018 - The National Weahter Weather Service in Hanford has issued a Hard Freeze Warning for the Central and Southern San Joaquin Valley starting from 12:00 A.M. on Saturday morning through 10:00 A.M. Sunday.
Rural areas will feel the coldest temperatures down to around 28 degrees while urban areas will feel conditions just above freezing.
Durations below 32 degrees may last up to 6 hours while conditions near 28 degrees may only last an hour or two.
Sunday morning lows will be a degree or two warmer.
Take cautions to protect exposed garden plants and pipes.
The freezing temperatures will also be a threat to pets and livestock.
