December 31, 2018 - The Madera County Sheriff's Office reports due to high winds, numerous fallen trees have forced a closure of the following roads in the Bass Lake area:
Road 274 in Bass Lake between Road 222 and Road 432.
County Roads crews will be clearing the trees as soon as it is safe to do so.
The public is requested to avoid driving in areas bordered by stands of dead trees during this wind event.
