January 5, 2019 - The National Weather Service Hanford Office reports a storm system will impact Central California Saturday through Sunday morning, producing rain below 4,500 feet and snow above 4,500 feet.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Sierra Nevada from Yosemite to Kings Canyon and across the Tulare County Mountains for total snow accumulations up to 8 to 12 inches.

Rain amounts should vary from one to three quarters of an inch for the Foothills and around a tenth to a quarter of an inch across the San Joaquin Valley.
