
January 6, 2019 - The National Weather Service Hanford Office reports another storm system will produce snow and wintry travel conditions above 4,500 feet in the Sierra Nevada this afternoon through early Monday morning.
Motorists should anticipate lengthy delays and slick, hazardous road conditions, as well as potential road closures above 4,500 feet.
If traveling, consider alternate plans and remember to carry tire chains, extra food, plenty of water, and warm clothing.
Campers and hikers should be prepared for hazardous winter-like conditions.
