January 21, 2019 - Do your children have an interest on attending a summer camp? Try new activities such as paddleboards, canoeing, archery? Then send them to 4-H Camp Tweety slated for Saturday, June 29 - Monday, July 1, 2019 at the Camp Sugar Pine Timber Mountain camp near Fish Camp. Mariposa County 4-H invites all 4th through 8th grade children to come join the fun at Camp Tweety.
The camp will begin Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. and end on Monday afternoon. Camp activities will include archery, BB guns, tie-dying, canoeing, and more. Along with these activities the campers will enjoy a campfire with smores, skits and songs.
Youth need to be age 9 by December 31, 2018. Early bird registration fee of $140 is for 4-H members and $165 for non-members for (7) meals, snacks, materials, and a camp souvenir. The early bird special is due by April 26. After this date registration fee is $160 for 4-H members and $190 for non-members. Registration forms for 4-H members are available at the UCCE office, and on-line at http://cemariposa.ucanr.edu/4-H_Program/Camp_Tweety/. Non-member forms are available at the UCCE Office so call the office to have one mailed. Make checks payable to “UC Regents” or pay by credit card at https://ucanr.edu/survey/survey.cfm?surveynumber=26391. We will take payment arrangements, but fee must be paid in full by May 24th.
