Merced, Mariposa, Oakhurst included in Severe Weather Outlook

February 14, 2019 - The National Weather Service Hanford Office reports a Pacific storm system will progress eastward through Central California Thursday.

Isolated marginally severe thunderstorms are possible in the San Joaquin Valley and Sierra Nevada north of Kern County.

In addition to lightning; strong gusty winds and hail are possible.

Also, a brief tornado cannot be ruled out.
