Merced County Genealogical SocietyFebruary 18, 2019 - Come join us on Saturday, February 23 at 1:00 P.M. at the Merced Genealogical Society located in the Merced County Library in the Gracie Room located at 2100 O Street in Merced. There’s NO charge for attendance and forms.

Program: Comparing Genealogy Website Giants: Ancestry, FamilySearch, Findmypast, and My Heritage. Guests are always invited and no charge.

MCGS meetings: on the 3rd or 4th Saturday each month at the Merced County Library, Gracey Room, located at 2100 O Street in Merced CA. 95340, at 1:00 P.M. MCGS has been active from 1983, and each month, we have between 20-40 members and guests attending. MCGS has very knowledgeable and professional guest speakers, meetings are free to the public, plus we love having guests!

Sample of 2019 Programs: On Saturday, March 16 - Irish Research. Saturday, April 20 - History of Alta California up to 1850, and looking at important Mission records, program by an Associate Genealogist with Ancestry Pro-Genealogists.
