Thunderstorms are possible in Merced, Mariposa, Oakhurst, and Yosemite National Park.

March 4, 2019 - The National Weather Service Hanford Office reports a few strong thunderstorms are possible Wednesday ahead of and along a cold front.

Funnel clouds, small hail, and wind gusts near 45 miles per hour are a few of the hazards associated with strong thunderstorms.

In addition to dangerous cloud to ground lightning strikes, any thunderstorms can produce intense rainfall rates, leading to localized flooding.
