Thunderstorms are possible in Merced, Mariposa, and Oakhurst.

March 7, 2019 - The National Weather Service Hanford Office reports a few strong thunderstorms are possible this afternoon.

Funnel clouds and small hail are a couple of hazards associated with strong thunderstorms.

In addition to dangerous cloud to ground lightning strikes, any thunderstorm can cause flooding.
