Update: Friday at 2:00 P.M. Highway 41 is open north of Highway 145 and south Road 200 after being closed from the rockslide the last two days. CAL-TRANS has re-opened the highway with no restrictions. Please use caution while driving in the area while road crews are still in the area.
Update 5:10 P.M.: Highway 41 is still closed from north of Highway 145 and south Road 200 due to a rockslide in the Rocky Cut Area. CAL-TRANS has specialists on scene evaluating the slide location. Highway 41 will be closed tonight and likely remained closed most of tomorrow. Suggested detour route will increase travel time by 20 to 30 minutes.
Highway 41 - Update
March 7, 2019 - Highway 41 is still closed from north of Highway 145 and south Road 200 due to a rockslide in the Rocky Cut Area. Caltrans is waiting for specialists to evaluate to the rocks to see if it’s safe to re-open to the public. Highway 41 will likely remain closed most of the day while specialists evaluate the area.
Suggested Detour route will increase travel time. Please plan for the increased travel time. Detour can be taken by using the follow directions:
Northbound: north on Highway 41 to Road 145 (East) to Road 211 (North) to Road 200 (West) back to Highway 41.
Southbound: south on Highway 41 to Road 200 (East) to Road 211 (South) to Road 145 (West) back to Highway 41.
