March 9,  2019 - The Mariposa County 2019 January unemployment rate of 7.2% rises .5% from January 2018's unemployment rate of 6.7%.

Mariposa County employment was down 220 employees in January 2019 with 6,630 employees compared to January 2018's 6,850 employees.

520 residents were unemployed during January 2019 in Mariposa County. A rise of 30 unemployed residents from January 2018 when 490 Mariposa County residents were unemployed.
