March 15, 2019 - The first Friday of each month at Sierra Foothill Charter School, Chelsea Kamins' TK/K students and Teena Starchman's third and fourth graders get together for service-learning projects. This year, these students are making decorations and cards every month to bring to the Ewing Wing, the long-term care residential facility at John C. Fremont Hospital. Recently, students created adorable clover men and women for St. Patrick's Day. After school, a parent who works at the Ewing Wing dropped off the students' decorations, to the delight of the residents.
