Highway 140 in the Merced River Canyon in Mariposa County

March 17, 2019 - MERCED/MARIPOSA COUNTIES — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be performing intermittent one-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound State Route 140 (SR-140) from Slate Gulch near Midpines to Yosemite National Park for road slope repair and clearing. Work will occur as follows:
• Work (one-way traffic control) will occur beginning Monday, March 18, 2019, Thursday, March 21, 2019, from 7:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.
• Work (one-way traffic control) will occur on Friday, March 22, 2019, from 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 15-minute delays.
Work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials, and construction related issues.
