Program: History of Alta California up to 1850. Presentation by Susan Skilton, Ancestry Pro-Genealogist. California has a valuable history before statehood. Land Grants from the Mexican Government shaped Alta California. Also look at the important Mission records and populations of Alta California up to 1850.

MCGS has been active from 1983, and each month, we have between 20-40 members and guests attending. MCGS has very knowledgeable and professional guest speakers, meetings are free to the public, plus we love having guests!
