May 8, 2019 - Sean Frame, a Congressional candidate for Congress, will be speaking on Saturday, May 11 at 9:30 A.M. at Miners Roadhouse located at 5159 Hwy. 140 in Mariposa.  He has announced he is running against Congressman Tom McClintock.

Frame, and his family, live in Placerville, CA. He has been on the school board there for the past seven years. The Placerville Union School Board oversees the education of 1,300 youths with a budget of $12 million.

He is also a small business owner as owner of a film production company. Frame says this experience means, “I know how to listen to somebody’s story”. He goes on to say, “In creating literally hundreds of films for all kinds of businesses and organizations, I am also a business consultant with a deep understanding of a wide range of industries and NGOs.

As a small business owner, Frame also has experience dealing with common small business problems such as rising healthcare costs, exponential insurance rate hikes, the impact of government shutdowns, and more.

After the 2016 election, Frame got more involved in activism by co-forming the El Dorado County Progressives, a non-partisan group that focuses on progressive community values.

Frame likes to say, “I don’t say I’m a problem solver, I just get out and solve problems”.

After a short presentation Frame will be open to questions from the community. This is an excellent opportunity to meet and learn about one of the people running against the current congressional representative.
