May 29, 2019 - Sierra Tel recently contributed $1,000 to the MCHS Academic Booster Club for its Valedictorian Dinner. Pictured are ABC Vice President Ruth Smiley and Seirra Tel Representative Erin Stonum. Mariposa County High School has twelve valedictorians this year. ABC is happy to host a very special dinner for them at CostaLivos. These hard-working students have earned the title of Valedictorian by taking the most rigorous courses offered at MCHS as determined by the classes available upon entry as freshmen. Their course load included four years of math through pre-calculus, four years of science with three being lab sciences, three years of the same foreign language, Advanced Placement (AP) English Literature and AP English Language, and all Honors and AP classes available to the student. Valedictorian students must earn a “B” or higher in all classes and maintain a weighted GPA of 4.0 or higher. ABC is happy to be able to celebrate the Valedictorians by hosting a very special dinner and thanks Sierra Tel for its financial support.

MCHS Academic Boosters Club, Inc. (ABC) is a 501(c)3 organization with the mission of supplementing and enriching academic experiences and providing educational tools for Mariposa County High School students.
