May 31, 2019 - On Tuesday, May 28, the Mariposa County High School Band led by Rod Fiester visited Sierra Foothill Charter School. Not only did the band perform for the entire student body, but Mr. Fiester introduced students to the various instruments played and answered their questions. After the assembly, a few students had an opportunity to explore the instruments and ask further questions. Six of the eight band members who played for students had previously attended SFCS as their elementary school. Staff and students were happy to see them again and hear the entire band perform.
