June 4, 2019 - Everyone is invited to meet Brynne Kennedy this Saturday, June 8, at 9:30 A.M. at Miners Roadhouse. She has announced that she is running for congress against the current congressional representative, Tom McClintock.

Kennedy grew up in a rural community with parents who taught her to have an entrepreneurial spirit. After college she found herself in Silicon Valley raising $100 million for a successful tech start up known as Topia. She served as CEO for 10 years and resigned at the beginning of the year so she could turn to community service and decided to run for congress.

“I’ve never been one to sit on the sidelines. When I see a problem, I fix it, whether in business or my community. I’ll bring that work ethic to Congress—that’s my commitment to you,” says Kennedy.

Kennedy has a keen interest in increasing jobs in this congressional area and wants to help build modern infrastructure to jump start job growth.

As a daughter of two parents who fought cancer, she knows the value of good healthcare and wants to continue the work necessary to ensure that for all Americans.

A main theme of her campaign is “Our Interests, Not Special Interests”.

The public is encouraged to attend this event and meet a potential new congressional representative for Mariposa County. After her remarks the floor will be open for questions.

The event is free, and coffee and water will be provided. If you wish to order breakfast for yourself, you are asked to arrive at 9:00 A.M.

 The Mariposa Democratic Club is sponsoring this event and at the end of the meeting they will have a brief business meeting.
