June 6, 2019 - The National Weather Service Hanford Office reports the warm conditions across Central California is allowing snow over the higher elevations to melt and cause a rise in water levels along the upper Merced river.
The California-Nevada River Forecast Center forecast the Merced River at Pohono Bridge to crest just below its respective flood stage early Thursday morning.
The Merced river in Yosemite National Park is forecast to start receding thereafter.
