June 7, 2019 - Sierra National Forest officials would like to inform area residents and visitors to the Sierra National Forest, there will be a project to reduce hazard trees along the roadway on Beasore Road, beginning Monday, June 10, 2019, and running through the Month of July including the 4th of July Holiday.
The project will take place along Beasore road between Road 274 and Beasore Meadow. Travelers on Beasore road can expect delays of up to 30 minutes or longer at times if necessary. We ask that you plan ahead accordingly if traveling Beasore Rd., or use an alternate route to get to your destination if possible during the project.
Logging crews with flagging personnel, along with work in progress signs will be posted along the route to control traffic during this time. Commuters are reminded to obey the flagging personnel and pay close attention to logging vehicles and crews. Please drive cautiously reducing your speed through the work zone and along forest roads.
