Family history buffs and genealogists acquire many documents, notes, contacts, and photos to help prove authenticity. Maintaining an order to this "Stuff" helps in so many ways!
Speaker - Anne Field a Retired Librarian: Anne has been researching her family for the last 44 years, traveling and researching in several states and countries, and has written many family history and photo books for her family. Anne retired as the District Librarian from the Atwater Elementary School District in 2006.
MCGS meetings: on the 3rd or 4th Saturday each month at the Merced County Library, Gracey Room, located at 2100 O Street in Merced CA. 95340, at 1:00 P.M. MCGS has been active from 1983, and each month, we have between 20-40 members and guests attending. MCGS has very knowledgeable and professional guest speakers, meetings are free to the public, plus we love having guests!
