Soroptimist Awards Scholarships

June 14, 2019 - By Anita Starchman Bryant, Publicity Chair - MCHS seniors Matthew Jordan, Izamary Marquez and Audrey Ogilvie were this year’s Soroptimist International of Mariposa Scholarship recipients.  MCHS senior Matthew Jordan was awarded the Vocational Scholarship.  The Vocational Scholarship is awarded to a student who plans to fast track his or her career by preparing at a Junior College or vocational or technical school.  Izamary Marquez is the 2019 Elinor Rollston Memorial Scholarship recipient.  This scholarship honors deceased Mariposa Charter Club member Elinor Rollston.  It is awarded on the basis of scholastic achievement with a special emphasis on service to the school and community.  Audrey Ogilvie was awarded the Academic Scholarship Award.  This scholarship is awarded on the basis of scholastic achievement and involvement in school and community activities.
