New Crafts Workshop Series Starts at Library 

July 18, 2019 - Crazy for Crafts, a new series of Makerspace workshops at the Mariposa Library, kicks off Saturday, July 27 with acrylic pour painting on canvas, a technique so simple even beginners can create a masterful work of art.

The series, taught by local artisan Nancy Francis, is free and open to anyone aged 16 and older. All materials are provided at no cost, but preregistration is required. Workshops will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon on the last Saturday of every month (with some exceptions for holiday weekends).

Upcoming workshops in the series include:  pine needle baskets on August 31, clay leaves on September 28, and painted gourds on October 26.
