The Church has moved locations, services are now held at the Bootjack Stompers Hall (located at 4662 Morman Bar Crossing) across from the Mariposa County Fairgrounds.

There is a verse in Genesis I want to mention to you. Genesis 3:15 reads, “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.”
Many Christians today and from the past refer to this verse as the protoevanglium. Nothing wrong with a little bit of Latin in your newspaper. The term literally means the proto-gospel, the first announcement of redemption. In other words, the announcement of the coming Messiah. God promising one day that the offspring, which according to the genealogy in Matthew 1 is Jesus of Nazareth, will come and stomp on the head of the serpent. It is this victory that renders us asking where is the sting of death? Christ appeared and the reason for this was to “destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8). The heel of the offspring would be bruised and Christ did die on a cross on a hill called Golgotha. But how like a bruise leaves after a time, in three days Jesus was resurrected.
Have faith and believe. Believe in the finished work of Christ. The Messiah came and died for sinners which is good because guess what, you are a sinner. Yet as sinners, we know that if we have faith in Christ everything is going to be okay. We may not rest upon our sin and works but rest on the grace of God. Rest on Christ for through him we are forgiven.
