The play has 10 female roles and seven male roles. Auditions will be held starting at 6 p.m. on the first day of class on Tuesday, August 5 at the amphitheater. Rehearsals will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The play will open for performance at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3 and will have additional performances on Saturday, Oct. 4, Friday, Oct. 10, and Saturday, Oct. 11; as well as 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, Oct. 12.
As a production class, people are needed as actors, technicians, and backstage and front-of-house managers. Having taught and directed for almost forty years, Mr. Friedland has been able to coax top-level performances from actors ranging from beginning to professional – so whatever may be your skill level, if you have the desire to perform or work backstage, please come to the audition!
