August 14, 2019 - Attention Hunters: On Saturday, September 14th, 2019 at 9:00 A.M. you have an opportunity to come to the Range at 4443 Old Highway, and take part in a shooting demonstration with Chad Thomas, from www.huntingwithnonlead.org. Mr. Thomas will shoot both lead and non-lead rounds of ammunition into water jugs and/or ballistic gelatin to show the difference of fragmentation and performance. Following that, You will be offered various options of non-lead to use in your own firearm.
Thorough research has been conducted and it has been found that certain guns prefer certain bullets, and it can be very expensive for a hunter to buy multiple boxes to figure out which works best. By trying multiple cartridges from Chad Thomas’s supply, hunters can quickly learn what their best option is at no cost.

Upon RSVP'ing please include the following information: Your name, and caliber of the hunting rifle you will bring with you to the range. WHY the caliber?! So that Chad knows approximately how much of each type of non-lead ammunition to bring with him for YOU to try in your firearm. (Chad has all common calibers: .223, .22-250, .22lr, .243, .270, 7mm-Mag, .30-06, .308, .300 Win Mag, & .30-30)
You will need to bring 3-4 rounds of YOUR PREFERRED LEAD hunting ammunition.
