August 19, 2019 - On Monday morning CAL FIRE reports the Gaines Fire in Mariposa County is at 1,300 Acres with 75% Containment and is Under Investigation.
Today will be a continuation of Sunday's work on the Gaines Fire with tying in fire lines, clearing out hot spots, etc.
The scanner will most likely be as slow or slower than Sunday with information on the fire.

August 16, 2019 - The Mariposa County Sheriff's Office is reporting that Deputies and Fire personnel are responding to a fire in the Mt. Gaines / Bear Valley Rd. area of Mariposa County.
