August 23, 2019 - Since the Rim Fire of 2013 many Tuolumne County residents have reported cancellations and rate increases to their homeowners insurance policies.
The Board of Supervisors has been actively engaged in reporting these concerns to the State Insurance Commissioner's Office.
Most recently Supervisor Sherri Brennan and County Staff met with Commissioner Ricardo Lara to express to him our escalating problems.
As a result, the Commissioner will be hosting a town hall meeting in Tuolumne County to listen to your concerns.
