August 29, 2019 - SACRAMENTO – Governor Gavin Newsom, Senate President pro Tempore Toni Atkins, Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon, Senator Connie Leyva, Assemblymember Patrick O’Donnell and California State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond on Wednesday announced that an agreement has been reached on Assemblymember O’Donnell’s AB 1505:

We are grateful that leaders on both sides of this conversation worked hard to reach this agreement, as it is foundational to continuing to work in the interests of all California students.”
