September 12, 2019 - The Sierra Foothill Charter School family takes great pride in the kind and helpful ways the older students support the younger ones at this grade TK-8 school. Buddy classes are one way staff members create cross-age learning opportunities. Upper grade classes meet with younger classes about once a week to read together, create artwork, or participate in other structured activities. All students benefit from these partnerships, and this time together fosters connections that support the positive school climate.
