September 18, 2019 - Parents, grandparents, or friends, would you like to be a mentor to our 4-H youth in a particular project? We are looking for project volunteer leaders for the upcoming 4-H program year which begins October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020.
We are looking for leaders in the projects areas of Cloverbuds (ages 5-8), sheep, fishing, welding, quilting, woodworking, small engines, jewelry, or any other specialty project. The 4-H Staff has curriculum for most project leaders to use. All new leaders must enroll and pay a $25 enrollment fee, do online trainings, be fingerprinted, and be approved by UCCE staff before having project meetings. Leaders must hold a minimum of 6 hours of instruction per project area.
There are 6 clubs within our county: Triangle 4-H Club (Woodland School area), Bootjack 49ers 4-H Club, Catheys Valley 4-H Club, Clover Pioneers 4-H Club (town), Hornitos 4-H Club, and Don Pedro Rattlers 4-H Club.
