September 18, 2019 - Habitat for Humanity of Mariposa County received a proclamation on Tuesday, September 17, from the Mariposa County Board of Supervisors. It named October as Habitat Awareness Month.

Habitat will be holding its annual Dining-Out Event from September 29 to October 6 with twelve generous restaurants participating by donating 10 - 20% of their proceeds on one or two days. With good supporter turnout, this can be a “win-win” for Habitat and our local restaurants.

On Saturday, October 19 the Habitat Resale Store will have a 50% off sale, the store is located at 5320 Hwy. 49 North in Mariposa and is open on Saturdays from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. 

These events are in addition to momentum building toward the announcement of Habitat’s fifth partner family and the start of their home.
