Annual ICES Children’s Fair Celebrates 30 years!
September 25, 2019 - Infant/Child Enrichment Services, Inc. (ICES) is holding its’ 30th annual Children’s Fair this Saturday, September 28th from 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. at the Mariposa County Park. ICES, along with other agencies, organizations, childcare centers, and licensed family childcare providers, will be offering fun, free, eco-friendly activities for families and children of all ages.
We are changing things up a bit this year and are including activities for older children in the interest of engaging the whole family. Live music will be provided at the amphitheater by the Beat Harvest students, Wild Child Adventures will offer bubble play from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M., and Reptile Ron will bring reptiles to observe and hold from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M.
A few other highlights of this year’s event will include rappelling activities with Mariposa Search and Rescue, face painting, and a variety art and craft activities for children of all ages. Officer Matthew Chance from the California Highway Patrol will be on hand with child passenger and traffic safety information, The Balloon Belles will be creating free balloon creations for children that attend the fair, and Tacos Sonora will join us once again with their full menu available.
The Children’s Fair is a family event and we ask that all young children be accompanied by an adult. Please plan on joining us for a fun-filled day in the park! Mariposa County Park is located at 4998 County Park Rd. in Mariposa.
