TRAFFIC ALERT Mariposa County State Route 49
Two fires, one north and one south of the town of Mariposa, are causing a full closure of State Route 49 in Mariposa County.
A full road closure is being established north of the town of Mariposa: State Route 49 will be closed from the Calfire Station to Whitlock Road.
South of the town of Mariposa: One-way traffic control in effect on State Route 49 from Indian Creek Road to Darrah Road.

October 3, 2019 - Per Caltrans: TRAFFIC ALERT Mariposa County State Route 49
Two fires, one north and one south of the town of Mariposa are causing full closures of State Route 49 in Mariposa County.
Road closures are being established as follows:
- North of the town of Mariposa: State Route 49 will be closed from the Calfire Station to Whitlock Road.
- South of the town of Mariposa: State Route 49 will be closed from Indian Creek Road to Darrah Road.
